Description

I've always wanted to draw a Transformer since I was a wee lad. Now I have~ XD

Wanted to draw it in Michael Bays new 'Movie-style' bots, since I can then make it transform into something real life. Sadly, this looks more like a Gen 1.5 or something... I'm not used to the organo-mecha stylings atm~ XP

I feel like giving a run-down of Havoc, but here's the basics.

Name : Havoc
Alt-Mode : T-80U Battle Tank
Weapons : Disintegrator Fist, Grappling Hook, 125mm Cannon

Those interested in seeing some design sketches I did as I was coming up with him, it's here. [link]

ps: Added a little more glow. ^_^

ps2: Added deeper shadows, markings dirt and oil. Wall of text removed, it was getting silly~ :P

This is great! Bayformers are realistic and freakishly detailed, but that doesn't make them superior. Consider this: no two zebras have the same pattern of stripes. But that doesn't mean you could tell zebras apart from just one look.? Ok, maybe not the best analogy, but bear with me. The designers of those films put great effort into vast arrays of minute details that would be insignificant on their own. When viewing all of them together on a single transformer, they all muddle together (not just for me I think) into an overall image that, visually, is less than the sum of its parts. Even when the camera is holding still, I usually use color to tell bayformers apart in a firefight. With a more animated look, the more basic shapes create a greater contrast between individual robots, and can provide for a massive range of body types.

Please keep making Transformers. And do a crossover with Warhammer 40k! Have Omega Supreme body slam a titan, just because!!!!
